Resolutions

Resolutions in Alert Manager Enterprise (AME) specify details like why an event was resolved or closed. The Resolutions UI lets you manage existing resolutions and create new ones.

Managing Resolutions

Use these buttons to manage resolutions:

Adding a Resolution

To add a new resolution:

  1. Click the Add Resolution button at the bottom of the list.
  2. Enter a unique resolution name.
  3. Add a description explaining the resolution’s purpose.
  4. Click Save in the upper-right corner of the resolution section.

Updating or Deleting a Resolution

To update a resolution:

  1. Edit the resolution details.
  2. Click Save Resolution in the upper-right corner.

To delete a resolution:

  1. Open the resolution.
  2. Click Delete Resolution next to Save Resolution in the upper-right corner.
